Terms of Use

These terms apply to the GlobeFix app published by Launchborn(“we”, “us”) and to the website at globefix.app. By installing the app or using the site you agree to them.

Licence

GlobeFix is distributed through the Mac App Store. Your use of the app is licensed, not sold, and is additionally governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. Where these terms and Apple’s agreement differ, Apple’s agreement prevails for the app itself.

You may install and use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store terms. You may not redistribute it, rent it out, or attempt to derive its source code except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.

Trial and purchase

• Every feature is available free for 14 days from first launch.
• After the trial, switching layouts stops working until the full version is unlocked. Other parts of the app remain accessible.
• Unlocking is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
• The purchase is tied to your Apple ID and works on your Macs signed in with that Apple ID. It can be restored from the app’s menu.
• Prices are set per storefront by Apple’s pricing tiers and are shown in your local currency at the time of purchase.

Payments and refunds

All payments are processed by Apple. We do not process, see or store payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.

What the app requires

The app requires macOS 13 or later and a keyboard that reports the Fn / Globe key to the system, such as the built-in keyboard of a Mac laptop or an Apple keyboard. To avoid switching twice, one system setting has to be turned off; the app shows how. Third-party keyboards without an Fn key cannot trigger the app.

Availability and changes

We may update the app, change its features, or stop distributing it. We may also change these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its date. Continuing to use the app or the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

No warranty

The app and the site are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every keyboard, input source or macOS configuration.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app or the site, including lost data or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Mac, macOS and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. GlobeFix is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc.
